Mr Snipe (BBC Bitesize)

Overview

Munk studios produced 2 series for BBC bitesize on senses and body systems.  The series explores complex concepts of human, animal and plant biology targeted at 6-8 year old pupils.  In education, it is important to show real animals to give pupils so we decided to overlay footage with an animated class of flies on a field trip.  The mixed media approach of cartoons, video and images combined with animated diagrams became a visually strong educational set of 15 films that can all be streamed right now on bitesize.

Engaging biology for kids

In these adventures these pupils explore human biology in unimaginable ways. They explore the waxy caverns of the human ear, delve into the digestive system and go on a rollercoaster ride through the bloodstream. On their travels they also come face to face with some of the most curious creatures in the animal kingdom. They escape the crushing feet of elephants, angry swarms of bees and the sticky jaws of a fly trap.
